(New socks under the tree this morning to welcome December)
My mother babysat Joshua on Tuesday and a conversation went something like this:
Joshua questioned, "Why does Santa give presents?"
"Well," My mother replied, "He gives presents just like the Wisemen gave presents to baby Jesus."
"No Nana. The wiseman built his house upon the rock!"
Seems like a good time to review the nativity story with him.

ReplyDeleteHah! That is too funny! We are trying to really talked about Christ and his birth this year. When Max asked why we celebrate Christmas and I asked him what he thought, he said it was so we can get stuff.
